only 5 mil.... the government should just break the monopoly apart like they did AT&T. But no that will never happen.
You own the software but not the service. I like subscription models for entities that provide open-source solutions. I'd hate to pay a subscription to a closed-source company, that's for sure. With closed-source, I like to pay once and sever the contact. With open-source, subscription makes more sense, since the company has a lot less leverage to screw you over as a customer, and therefore supporting it via subscription is less dangerous for your freedom.
Actually, some distributions do sell Linux. Usually if you buy Linux from one of them you also get technical support and possibly some licensed software (in case of Enterprise Redhat). Its just that every distribution that sells it also has a free version for download. michelin pilot power 2ct tires

From what we saw at E3, Resident Evil 5 is looking like it'll play very much the same as RE4, which isn't a bad thing. So hopefully more gore elements will be added :p

And pretty much any farmers who are wealthy come from cooperate farms. The average family farm, even with subsidies, can barely survive.
It would have cost them less just to upgrade their infrastructure instead of throttling Bittorrent users.
