I'm sorry, but this kids parents are turds. I just got a couple lab pups and within a few days of taking them away from their mom they both came down with parvo. We nursed them back to health and they got well and now I have the two best dogs I've ever had. I mean, once you buy the dog you take care of it and make the best of things. Talk about a bad lesson for a kid to learn about the value of life. I hope some day when his folks are pooping their pants with Alzheimer's he dumps them at the old folks shelter and forgets about them.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past should very much be on that list, it is, in my opinion, by far the best zelda game made and one of the greatest RPGs on SNES. However, I totally agree with Secret of Mana, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger & Super Mario RPG (even though this came out waaay too late in the snes's lifetime). With Seiken Densetsu 2 probably being my favourite RPG of all time.

There's a movie coming out called "Flash of Genius" starring Greg Kinnear which outlines some of the virtues of the patent system.
