Even though I love Chris Nolan's Batman and all ,These stories on the frontpage are starting to feel like Astroturf.
digg is not the tv, we can all whine and cry about this, but i say 99% of the diggers will do nothing else but just that. how many of you will actually call your senator? how many of you will actually pass this information to people and spread the truth about the people in our government now openly destroying our nation in front of our faces? do something and then you have the right to whine about this because if you just sit there you are part of the reason why it's happening.

This is typical in any business supply chain. Note, "what the farmer gets" from what I understand is after all his costs, distrubtor costs, and distribution markup, aka "his profit". This isn't atypical for business (except if you consider his margins are better!). You might be surprised what the manufacturer gets for a tube of toothpaste. *shrugs*. Article buried for being sensationalistic and not really news.
At those prices I agree, no sense in paying double the price for what is nothing but artificial inflation.
Interesting writing style . . .
windows does everything i need it to... the only reason i'd wanna mac is for final cut, the no virus feature, and thats it, i kinda like the look of osx
Am I the only one who thought this article was about rampant squirrels?
I work at Gamestop....we don't do that OFTEN. But occasionally I'll see something with some sticker shock, like when we got Marvel Vs Capcom for PS2. Put it out on the shelf USED for almost $80. I thought "for a game that semi obscure, and at that price, it's gonna be on our shelves forever!" Wrong. It didn't last an hour.
